experiments with light
DK's primary camera right now is a Sony Alpha A-100 DSLR. However, he's also got a fair amount of material from his Konica Minolta Dimage Z5. At times he's also been known to use his wife's Cybershot w100. DK also shoot 35mm with a Minolta 700si and medium format with a vintage Yashica Mat-124 TLR.
DK prefers not to manipulate images too much; however, he does use the GNU Image Manipulation Tool (GIMP) when the need arises. While DK does generally stick to straight photography he does often remember the voice of his photography teacher telling him to not be afraid of tearing his photographs up.
DK enjoys the artwork of Jasper Johns, Ansel Adams, and Dorothea Lange to name a few.

DUDE, when the frik did you become this amazing photographer.. y'know, if i'd be more consistent at showing up to years of camp, i might know these things... But I have this allergic reaction to spending 1 week away from my wife in an emotional cesspool of activity.
by the way, thanks for providing the great picture of my future front yard. no, i'm not joking. That's why Pepsi is one of my largest investments.
WELL, keep in touch
